Title: Oracle Applications Developer
Location: Louisiana
Pay Range: Open – Negotiable
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for software integration, external interface development and technical documentation.
Gathering and analyzing business/system requirements.
Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
Coordinates system upgrade activity.
Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.
The position will have general support responsibilities specific to the supported applications.
Support will require troubleshooting and problem resolution related to user and connectivity issues.
Responds to emergencies as needed.
Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best technical solution to support the most efficient business process.
Documenting technical specifications/requirements.
Adhere to development standards, processes, guidelines, and procedures including Oracle A.I.M. Methodology.
Produce unit test scripts and support all testing activities.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work with team members and members of other functional teams to coordinate and meet deliverables.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
3 years of EBS functional development experience.
PL/SQL development involving Oracle EBS modules such as Time/Labor, Human Resources, Financials etc. including knowledge of the underlying data model as well as basic process and data flow.
Hands on experience in development using best practices and standards on Oracle technologies.
A proven track record developing and documenting systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, and testing under multiple deadlines.
Must have experience interfacing with functional end-users in developing required programs.
Skilled at technical problem solving and software change management.
R12, Toad experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
