Title: Program Manager
Pay Range: Open – Negotiable
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the fulfillment of contractual obligations for assigned programs.
Serves as primary contact with the customer.
Coordinates all engineering, purchasing, scheduling and subcontract work.
Selects, supervises, and evaluates buyers, schedulers/production planners, engineers, and office staff.
Reviews and analyzes new contracts.
Prepares and reviews contract data submittal.
Prepares contract change order proposals.
Responds to all customer inquiries pertaining to assigned programs.
Reviews, monitors, and processes all correspondence with customers.
Coordinates the submission of periodic reports.
Ensures engineering meets program goals.
Coordinates all work with subcontracting parties.
Approves subcontract invoices and invoices involving progress payments.
Prepares or approves all purchases for assigned programs.
Ensures accurate, complete records are maintained.
Reviews and submits all regular, special, and final reports.
Completes inventory schedules and required documentation up termination of the contract.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Considerable knowledge in all phases of vessel fabrication.
Considerable knowledge of contract administration and regulatory policies and practices.
Considerable knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices or the ability to acquire it quickly.
Ability to establish and meet goals, and to lead and function on a team effectively with all employee levels.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
College degree or equivalent college level course study in production management or engineering or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Considerable to extensive experience managing and supervising administrative and production areas.
